It's Women's History Month, and QIE is committed to share a glimpse of the book of female pioneers in history who made us us today.

By narrowing down the long list of phenomenal female pioneers, we have the following 3 women stands for the geographical point of views of the world:

[1] Ching Shih

Zheng Yi Sao (郑一嫂) , also known as Ching Shih, was a Chinese pirate leader who was active in the South China Sea from 1801 to 1810. She has been described as history's most successful female pirate, and one of the most successful pirates in history.

[2] Rosa Parks

Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott.

[3] Mary Shelley

Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley was an English novelist who wrote the Gothic novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus, which is considered an early example of science fiction.
